Picked this set up at origins and got a chance to try it out a few times today. We only did gift of elements and alliances together and found it a very unique experience. The ability to have two players going at the same time and banishing cards from the center row or carefully pruning things away to generate more flips from the center deck allowed for some good deck crafting. The one mechana card caught us by surprise with the ally-unite switching into ally gains instead. We had forge weaver as well and thought it was one gains 2+2 and the other 3+3. But the other team pointed out is is actually 2+2+3=7 with a single card played and the other was just 3. VERY nice turn that turned into!

I hope to have enough players around to give it more tries soon.

We will also have to try mixing 2-3 sets together or playing with three teams of 2 to see how the game morphs with diluting the new cards making them high priority grabs when they do flip.
