What are the edits made to the cards?
Hope we will find out soon! :)
The edits were templating fixes to put the cards in line with current terminology (for example; things like Corrosive Widow now say 'destroy constructs' rather than 'discard constructs from play', to fit with Storm of Souls terminology). Few cards were modified in how they work.
An exception to this is Burrower Mark II, which now reads like the Storm of Souls Mechana Constructs. This means you can draw a card if you played a Mechana Construct before the Burrower, which you originally couldn't do.
Does this mean the iPhone app will be getting editted in the, relatively, near future to keep in line with card edits?
So what about all the people waiting for products to be shipped? There's probably a dozen people or more complaining in the forums and getting zero response from the company.
so...that also means that playing 2 burrowers in a turn draws you 2 cards? in the original print/iOS, it only triggers off the first mechana you play that turn, so wont trigger if played as 2nd mechana, and thus only 1 per turn could ever go off. this is a pretty big change really...
and does runic lycanthrope now work like unite, even if not using the keyword? ie: if i play runic lycanthrope, then later than turn draw into aanother lifebound and play it, do i get the 2 power bonus? thats a huge improvement too if so.
id love clarity on the exact changes, and confirmation if the ios app will make the rules updates too. these are good functional changes that make this cards work like youd expect when mixed with others...but ugh, makes me feel like i need to replace my base set.
now i need the rat king to be available in the new card stock...
